Elim Valley Holistic Mission Organizational Structure
Elim Valley Holistic Mission (EVHM) functions with a well-defined leadership and governance structure to ensure accountability, effective coordination, and alignment with the vision and mission.
a) General Assembly
- The highest decision-making body of EVHM.
- Composed of all members, representatives of partner churches, and mission stakeholders.
- Meets once per year to approve strategic direction, elect Mission Board members, and review reports.
- Represents ownership and accountability to the wider mission constituency.
b) Mission Board
- Accountable to the General Assembly.
- Provides oversight and governance for the mission.
- Responsibilities: Approve policies, monitor progress, safeguard vision and values, and review finances.
c) Executive Board
- Delegated by the Mission Board for operational oversight.
- Meets quarterly to review program implementation.
- Provides guidance to the Executive Director and Directors.
d) Executive Director
- Chief executive officer of EVHM, accountable to the Mission Board.
- Provides overall leadership and direction.
- Leads Executive Leadership Team, mobilizes resources, and represents EVHM nationally and internationally.
e) Directors
- Program Director – Oversees design, implementation, and evaluation of all mission programs.
- Mission Director – Leads all mission and evangelism initiatives, oversees missionaries, and ensures contextual approaches.
- Training & Education Director – Oversees missionary training, leadership development, and curricula for discipleship.
- Finance & Administration Director – Manages finance, HR, budgets, audits, and administration with transparency.
- Community Development Director – Leads holistic programs (education, health, livelihood) and empowerment of women & children.
f) Coordinators
- Field-level leaders who support Directors.
- Includes regional, training, women & children, and community project coordinators.
- Act as a bridge between fieldwork and central leadership.
